Terms

MyBooks is a personal project, offered free to people its operator knows. These terms are short because the arrangement is simple.

What this is

An app run by one person, at no charge. It is not a business and there is no support desk behind it. Access is by invitation or access code; there is no public sign-up.

Don’t use it to store anything you would be upset to lose, and don’t add anything you don’t have the right to share with the rest of your company.

Accounts

Accounts can be removed at any time, without notice, at the operator’s discretion — this is an app shared between people who know each other, and that is the only moderation it has. You can ask for your own account to be removed by writing to the address below.

Everyone in a company can see and change everything in it, including things you added. If that is not what you want, you want your own company rather than a shared one.

Provided as-is

The app is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, it may lose data, and it may be wrong. It is not offered as fit for any particular purpose, and it should not be relied on where being wrong would matter. Nothing it shows is advice.

It may change or stop entirely, at any time. If it is going to stop for good, the intention is to say so first and give people a chance to copy out what they want to keep.

Getting in touch

Questions, problems and requests all go to whoever invited you to the app. What the app does with your information is described on the privacy page.
